It has been over a year since I've updated here. My blog suffers the same treatment.
It's not like anyone reads this anyway...

I still scribble all the time, but I find myself drawn more and more to my camera. I’m not saying I’m good at photography, but I do enjoy it. My dad has always been a shutter bug, and it shows. We will both take a shot of the same person/place/event, and mine looks like a picture, his – a work of art. I think I’m going to take a photo class from the community college next year; my wife has an older 35mm just collecting dust, so I have the tools.

On the scribbling side; there are a bunch of drawings waiting to be scanned in and posted. With the move and new baby though, I haven’t had time. I’m also working on a story project with a friend of mine, but it’s still in the early stages. If I get a chance this weekend I’ll throw some of the sketches for it up in scraps.

Izzy is going to be an artist…I hope. I’ve got some great pictures of her ‘drawing’ at the kitchen table. I just strap her in her chair, give her a stack of paper and some crayons, and she’ll go for hours! Pretty cool stuff.
